Head of Productions

Phil also trained in Musical Theatre but joined Welland School of Dancing long before that at the age of 3. Over the years he took classes in Ballet, Modern and Tap as well as performing in many of the school's productions and events.

Since graduating, Phil has toured all over the country as an actor and puppeteer in a wide variety of theatre productions plus a handful of adverts and TV Programmes. In 2008, he started his own theatre company touring family productions across the UK and now produces popular Easter Pantomimes in Scotland. Pantomime is definitely his area of specialism, having appeared in, directed, written, tech supported and/or produced over 100 productions over the years.

Although he has remained involved with the school in a small way, Phil is delighted to be properly rejoining the Welland family.
