This age group will progress from the previous class with the aim to enhance all areas of early learning such as communication, imagination and numeracy. Children are also learning to mix with their own peer group and adults so classes tend to become very sociable.

Within this age group we introduce basic pre-school learning themes such as numbers, colours and the weather for example, all of which is done in a fun way, and reinforced with the use of visuals. The children will become more adept at using the instruments and how to play in rhythm. Concepts of loud and soft are introduced here, as well as fast and slow. More movement is involved and activities which are designed to encourage children's imagination and creativity.

Your little ones will enjoy many action songs like 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' and 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow', designed to develop more skilled movements, and to encourage their imagination and creativity. Adults are again encouraged to join in as much as possible.
