The Former Stamford Museum, Broad Street, Stamford, PE9 1PJ

This class is suitable for students who have been instructed by their ballet teacher that they are ready to begin training en pointe. We will be looking at foot types and pointe shoes, how to sew and tie ribbons correctly and what cushioning to wear.

The class will include foot strengthening exercises, pointe technique, and build up exercises such as rises, releves working towards enchainements en pointe. Ideal for all beginners, those who are struggling, and anyone wanting to improve their pointe work.

Bring pointe shoes and preferably wear footless/transition tights.

Please warm up beforehand.
