Inter Pointework

This class is suitable for students in Intermediate and Advanced ballet or up. Following on from the beginners pointe work class, this class will start to introduce more complex pointe work steps such as reléves on one foot, adagio movements, turns and jumps en pointe.

The class will focus on strength and pointework stamina, aiming to achieve quiet and seemingly effortless pointe work needed for examinations and performances. Ideal for students who are already studying at a higher or  vocational level, who have an examination audition or competition coming up and want to improve their pointe work or work on specific pointe work steps. 

There is no set uniform for this class. Dancers can wear any leotard and preferably footless / transition tights. Bring pointe shoes. Hair in a bun. 

Please warm up beforehand. This class should be taken along with at least one other ballet class.
